Clive came from behind to win the trophy with 72 points on count back from Mark Trigg.  Ian Widdowson was third one point behind ... story to follow soon.

One of these reprobates has just passed 500 runs for the season, another has just taken his 50th wicket and another is the only bowler who is conceding less than 3 runs an over  see the batting and bowling figues to 11th August for the answers and much more ->

Knotty v OdneyMoving clear of the bottom of the league

Three wins against Little Gaddesdon, Broomwade and The Lee have helped Knotty off the bottom of the table.  There is no room for complacency as the final 2 fixtures against  Chearsley (24/8), who are top of the table, and Ballinger (31/8) will be vital for survival.  Full fixture and results service ->

Both matches were just shaded by the Old-timers despite some clean hitting and a total of 597 runs in the afternoon.  The winning margins were 12 runs and 2 wickets with 4 balls to spare.  Report and photo's ->

Booker batted first and at 33 for 3 and then 97 for 7 were up against it.  Unfortunately the Booker tails wagged and when they batted Knotty  found the 188 target too much.  What odds a regional final in 2002 ?  Link to scorecard ->

Apologies to Alec and David Chapman but it happened on 17th July, 1971.  E Torrens of the Hill was the first man out for 70 with score on 70 to the 49th ball of the match ! click here ->
