Commentary:

In an amazing game Knotty Green slumped to an all time low of 15-7 with skipper Jeremy Wagge first out after adding 10 of the precious runs with the score at 13. Enter Chris Lewis. With some well chosen strikes and a cultured defence Chris added 69 runs with James Widdowson to take the score to a highly respectable (in the context of the game) 81-8.

Knotty were finally bowled out for 84 in the 25th over. Widmer End's Ali and Saeed bowled exceptionally well supported by a number of good ground catches With tea still an hour away Richard Lewis and Mike Widdowson applied the pressure reducing Widmer End to 66-6 at tea.  In the following six overs Knotty collected the last 4 wickets for 3 runs. Game over.

Note: Jeremy Cravos kept a clean sheet behind the stumps with not a single extra conceeded by the bowlers- a KGCC record?
